Meet our team of educators.

Beautiful indeed and of great importance is the vocation of all those who aid parents in fulfilling their duties and who,
as representatives of the human community, undertake the task of education in schools.
This vocation demands special qualities of mind and heart, very careful preparation, and continuing readiness to renew and to adapt.

  • Ann Fallon, St Albert the Great Academy Principal, PreK-6

    Ann Fallon - Principal afallon@stalbertacademy.org

My first encounter with St. Albert the Great Academy was in its very early days, meeting with similar minds on a model for an elementary education for the young children of our community. It was there that I helped build the organizational structure, policies & procedures, and curriculum that would be set apart from others at the elementary level here in Auburn. My knowledge and talents have been strengthened in my studies and my experiences in homeschooling, in being a Catechist, and at Tyburn Academy in teaching, fundraising, developing a middle school program, teacher formation & retreats, and at the board level.

My husband and I have eight children and three grandchildren.

  • Beth Chapin - Office Assistant Pulaski Campus - St. Albert the Great Academy

Beth Chapin - Office Assistant Pulaski Campus bchapin@stalbertacademy.org

  • Laura Taylor-Office Assistant- Washington Campus ltaylor@stalbertacademy.org

My name is Laura Taylor. I have been married to my husband, James, for almost 36 years, have two daughters and twin grandsons. I was fortunate enough to be a stay-at-home mom and began volunteering at the elementary school our daughters attended. It was then, at the age of 32, that I knew I wanted to become a teacher. In 2000, I went back to college and have worked with all age groups, from infants to adults. I have had many roles in every job and have learned so much along the way. I started as a teaching assistant working with the special education department at South Seneca Central School District. For almost ten years, I co-taught with many teachers in the district, was a substitute teacher, worked in the office, ran an after-school homework program and was a class advisor. When my time there ended, I began working as a classroom Teacher in the Department of Corrections. Many students I worked with obtained their high school equivalency, which opened the door for them to have new opportunities when they left the facility. After six years of teaching in the correctional system, Willard DTC was one of the facilities that closed, and I became a lead teacher for a toddler program at a daycare center in Geneva. I was recently given the chance to become an office assistant and have worked closely with the current director to learn how to run the center. I am very grateful for the opportunity to become part of the St. Albert the Great Academy and look forward to working with the faculty, parents, and children who attend the school.

My husband and I were St. Albert the Great Parents. We found ourselves effortlessly being a part of the community & volunteering for the school. We appreciated what the school & staff offered for our daughter. My career was in human- services & providing services within the community. Since I have been a part of the St. Albert the Great Academy Team, I have witnessed firsthand the passion that this school has to our children & community. I am grateful for the opportunity & feel being in this position will help grow our school within the Auburn community.

I was born and raised in upstate New York. I graduated from Keuka College for my Undergrad in Early Childhood and Special Education. I then received my master’s degree in child and Family Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi.

With my lifelong love of Upstate NY and the Finger Lakes, I currently live in Seneca Falls with my husband and three young children with plans to continue to grow our family. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family going for walks, playing games, and having movie nights. In the summertime I love making smores with the family and chatting around the campfire.

I started my teaching career in 2014. From a very young age I always knew my passion was teaching children.

My teaching career started off with me teaching UPK at two different local schools. After many years, I then became the director of an early childhood program that teaches kids from ages 6 weeks old to 12 years old. In this job, I took on a more managerial position and wasn’t as intimately involved with teaching the children. I feel truly blessed to have this opportunity to teach at St. Alberts The Great and to dive back into my original passion of empowering students to becoming the best person they can be.
